Burri is a tribute to the colors and shapes of the Italian artist Alberto Burri.Four free shapes to be composed, without limits. The artist's colors become textures. Black turns into blackened aluminum, the yellows into shiny gold and burnished brushed brass and red turns into matt Ral 3000 paint. Composition n.1 is a faithful reproduction of one of the works of the Multiplex sequence created by Alberto Burri in 1981. The four elements are made by cutting, bending and welding 20/10 mm metal sheets, which are eventually cleaned and polished with the chosen finishes, creating hollow volumes, ready to accommodate and display books or personal objects. They are 30 cm high. The whole composition is a large living-room coffee table and the single elements are convenient side tables. The design of the furniture will be completed by the hands of those who experience it, who will be free to combine, divide, rotate, fit together or stack the individual elements, thus creating new sculptural compositions every time. The distance, the void that is created between them, inevitably also celebrates Alberto Burri's cracking which, together with the tears and lacerations, reveals the beauty of time and of what is commonly defined imperfection.
I colori dell’artista diventano finiture.
