N@stro is Italian for ribbon or tape.
The central idea is that a paper sheet is flexible when it is straight and becomes stiff when one folds it.
The concept of “stiffness by shape” rules the project: a ribbon of steel can be folded to become a coffee table, a bookshelf or a vinyl case.
You can imagine cutting the ribbon in two parts and combining them as you prefer – placing them on a straight line, in a cross shape or one over the other.
You can use N@stro as a coffee or a side table in your living space, or as a bookshelf or media console.
The choice of two different finishes highlights the dual nature of metal, either rough or elegant: the black and scratched steel part and the brushed brass part fit well together in contemporary interiors, as well as classic ones.
N@stro is made of laser-cut steel sheets and folded in different sizes and finishes.
