The idea was not only that of designing an element in itself and limited only to a function as old as the history of mankind, but something that encloses various functions inside, with shapes that merge together: not only a seat, but also a furnishing accessory blended together.
Due Modi is design. It comes as a single mono block made in two parts and joined together with a simple interlocking. Defined forms that have been given functions without limiting the materials with which they can be made with.
A seat which has evolved in time, and in May 2022 became the registered design in Italy and the EU Community, (also registration in non EU countries
in progress).
The Due Modi style help the user in sitting: seat and backrest. Anytime you can separate them: one remains a stool or a shelf for (books, Notebooks, etc), the other, once it has been removed from the underside, and placed in a horizontal position, a magazine rack.
The first model was made on scale 1:5, furthermore, the shapes and more fragile parts have been improved, (interlocking and usage).
The seating part is suitable for up to 120 kg.
The first product in plexiglass made at the end on 2021 satisfied perfectly the idea of what was to be created.
