Ventaglio is a low coffee table described by a strong, highly connotative and iconic sculptural base and provided with a large, useful yet important top.
The base is made by four identical modular elements that are press-bended with a specific angle to obtain a semi-conical appearance that reminds the folds of a fan (Ventaglio in italian language). The four elements are then joined together and a simple square top is then placed on the sturdy structure. The faceted surface of the base will then reflect the light in different directions, creating an elusive and interesting combination of lights and shadows.
Ventaglio has been thought to be manufactured in 20/10 brass sheet and it takes advantage of the current know-how of the company, using its technology and basic manufacturing processes. This allows it to be produced in a relatively short time and optimizing the resources: measures have been defined to obtain two Ventaglio coffee tables out of a single 2000 x 4000 sheet, making it production practical and sensitively limiting processing waste.
